Phobias only really becomes a problem if the object of the fear is not easily avoidable

A Phobia is an overwhelming and debilitating fear of an object, place, situation or animal. It only really becomes a problem if the object of the fear is not easily avoidable, but if a person finds themselves having to adapt their life to avoid the problem, such as needles and not attending medical appointments to avoid facing the fear, then perhaps help is required.

The phobic response is stored in a negative template for behaviour in the subconscious. In Solution Focussed Hypnotherapy we use an NLP (Neuro-Linguistic-programming) technique to remove the negative phobic template and replace it with a more appropriate response that you will create during the final session.

Hypnotherapy for specific phobias involves 4 sessions.
